Amazing installations can be seen at the Lincoln Center, Ginger and Baker, Comet Chicken, Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant, Markley Motors, Fort Collins Country Club and many other locations!
Upon your first trip, you will be immediately taken aback at all the many options in their 13,000 square foot space. As well as experts who really know their stuff; their employees can help with everything from simple light bulb choices to a lighting plan for your entire home or office.
Larry Edwards founded The Light Center in 1971, and he has always incorporated values into his business that still ring true and drive the company forward today – customer service, community impact and industry innovation.
Edwards has made it his passion to not only innovate but to educate the next generation. He works with classes from CSU every semester to help further their design education. He was the first light store in the country to offer a Lighting Lab that allows clients to experience what their lighting will look like in their home before they purchase. He has also developed a thorough employee training process that helps to make his employees experts in the field. Edwards has created a business that truly puts the community, his customers and employees first.
It’s for all these reasons and many more that we are excited to congratulate Edwards on his most recent Lifetime Achievement Award by Lighting One, a membership cooperative program that exists to support lighting stores and showrooms around the country. Lighting One’s annual awards reception took place on June 19 at the Marriott City Center in downtown Dallas.
“The strength of our independent showrooms lies within our people,” Lighting One President Gregg Garofalo said at the event. “When we come together as one… we show true strength. We’re thrilled at the progress we’ve made and look forward to what lies ahead.”
