COVID-19 Updates

Dear Fort Collins Community,

Amidst the coronavirus concerns, there’s a lot of changes going on with our local businesses! Please check here for updates on our members and how they are taking precautionary actions and how you can help:

Catholic Charities of Larimer County: The Mission

During lunch at the Mission, we served more than 100 individuals. In an effort to reduce interactions and for the safety of our guests and volunteers, we have had to change some of our regularly scheduled volunteer opportunities.

Staff members have had to really step up and go the extra mile! Thank you! Unfortunately, with these necessary temporary changes, there is an increase in cost per meal. We would like to ask if you are financially able to give what you can. Give a little, give a lot, give anything you’ve got.

Crossroads Safehouse

Crossroads Safehouse is currently operating with only essential personnel on-site. We have temporarily discontinued our Wish List program and will not be accepting in-kind donations of any kind (clothing, household goods, etc.) until further notice. We are committed to serving our clients and the community and are taking these preventative measures to protect our clients, staff, and volunteers.

During this time, your support is critical. We are asking for donations from our community so that we can continue to provide emergency shelter, food, and life-saving services to our clients and their children. Please join us in our current fundraising goal so that we can continue to keep our doors open for clients during this pandemic. We are continually in awe of how this community comes together to help one another, and we are thankful for you.

Please make a donation today and share on your Facebook page!

Elevations Credit Union

Elevations Credit Union is open during regular business hours. However, we encourage our community to utilize online banking for most of their transactions instead of getting out and coming into branches. We will have limited staff in-branch for the time being and other staff members will be working remotely. If you are calling in for assistance, we ask that you please be patient as this is a hectic economic time. We aim to make sure all of our members are fully being taken care of and are committed to giving everyone the time and attention that they need.

Exodus Moving & Storage

The Leadership Team at Exodus Moving & Storage is communicating regularly about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation.

Look to Exodus to plan your move. We have our customers’ health and safety as a top priority. Social distancing is one of the best strategies to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Exodus Moving and Storage provides Virtual Surveys so you can show our professional Move Consultant your belongings and receive an accurate estimate for your move while you stay in the comfort of your own home and maintain social distancing.

At Exodus, the health of our customers and crew members is one of the highest importance. We are taking additional steps to reduce stress and keep our customers’ risk at a minimum. For the safety of everyone, we are committing to keeping 6′ distance between our customers and crew, avoiding close contact such as handshakes, wearing gloves that are provided at the office, washing our hands before and after returning from a job, and communicating immediately if our crew does not feel well. We will continue to communicate with you about how to best prepare as this situation evolves.

Fitness Festival Events

At this time we are brainstorming ways to help our community – as of right now no changes for our free community event in summer July and August, and no changes to our event in September. But, our focus right now is how to help others. Our Break Free Community will continue to have different workshops and ways to stay healthy (that is FREE on IG and FB and Email – sign up through our site!) Plus, we will be doing what we can to share others in our community to help navigate this season and come out of it better than before.

Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity

Fort Collins Habitat has canceled all volunteer shifts through March 28 and will reevaluate the COVID-19 situation at that point. Meanwhile, they encourage everyone to stay home if you are feeling sick, disinfect your workspaces, and expect an “air high five” from them rather than a handshake or a hug.

Fort Collins Nursery will be planning for delivery and curbside pickup. Follow their social media pages for more information in the next few days!

Gallegos Sanitation Inc.

In an effort to protect our employees, vendors and community members, our office is currently not open to the public until further notice. This is due to the CDC’s recommendation of social distancing and for the well-being of our customers and employees. We look forward to providing the highest level of safety, service and sustainability to you and your family. Please continue to visit our website or check our social media pages as conditions continue to develop.

Houska Automotive

Please be aware that we provide a complimentary pick-up and delivery service. If you feel that you do not want to leave your home, we will gladly arrange to pick up your car, service it, and return it to you. Please feel free to take advantage of our services. We are here to make your automotive service and repair as easy as possible. If you do want to bring your car in and just don’t want to have human interaction, please feel free to use our after-hours envelopes at any time of the day. Learn more here.

Matthews House

To The Matthews House supporters, participants, and friends: We’re monitoring the current coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very closely and will be making adjustments to our programming as necessary, following recommendations by the CDC. Our top priority is the health and safety of our staff, participants, and community as a whole. With that said, we’ve made plans with our staff around preventative practices and alternate forms of communication so we can continue serving youth and families. We know that vulnerable populations will feel the effects of this situation, as we all will. As this unfolds, we’ll be in communication with those affected by programmatic changes. Thank you for your understanding.

Outpost Sunsport

Servicing customers and employees is our focus each and every day at Outpost Sunsport. The safety and health of those who have supported Outpost Sunsport over the years is a top priority. Since the Coronavirus (COVID-19) surfaced, we have been closely monitoring the situation making changes to help keep our customers and team safe.

With the effects of the outbreak now close to home, we wanted to take the time to share what we have been doing to help protect our employees and give our customers a safe and comfortable environment in which to shop. Read more here.

Pathways

We are closely monitoring and responding to this constantly evolving situation as information comes in. Leadership is meeting daily, sometimes multiple times throughout the day, to ensure that we are acting on the latest information and guidance from the CDC, CMS, NHPCO, and other experts.

Pathways needs your support now more than ever to keep our high-risk patients and families safe and receiving the best care possible. Most importantly, we need your support to ensure that we do not lose momentum on our $8M capital campaign for the new Pathways Inpatient Care Center. Read more of this letter from Pathways’ president here.
