Outpost Sunsport

In 1972, Outpost Sunsport, a locally owned and operated outdoor retail store, started as a small backpacking and mountaineering store in Fort Collins, Colorado. Since then, Outpost has gone through many changes over the years always keeping one thing in mind: we love the outdoors.

Outpost became a specialty ski shop in Northern Colorado in 1983 and added snowboarding in 1985.  We pride ourselves in having created one of the finest specialty ski and snowboard shops in the area. We have received national awards including the SnowSports Industries of America Ski Retailer of the Year for the Rocky Mountains and we are constantly striving to provide the highest quality products to help everyone enjoy their outdoor passions.

Although our product selection has grown over the years to include patio furniture sales in the summer, many things have stayed the same, including providing excellent customer service to our wonderful customers and trying to make a difference in northern Colorado. Annually, we proudly support Poudre School District, Colorado State University, Foothills Gateway, Respite Care, The Gardens on Spring Creek, Colorado Open Lands and many other northern Colorado and Larimer County organizations.
